About the project

A Calculator That Shows Its Work

This site makes a traditional Chaldean name calculation easy to inspect, while being candid about the method's cultural context and limits.

Our purpose

The project answers a practical question: which letter values produced a name number? It shows normalized letters, name-part subtotals, the compound total, and every reduction instead of presenting an unexplained result.

Privacy by design

Name and birth-date calculations run in the browser. They are not sent to this site's server, stored as history, placed in URLs, or included in analytics events. A separate contact form asks only for details needed to answer a message.

Method and source review

The letter chart and compound framework are reviewed against commonly published Cheiro-style material, including the historical digitization listed in our content sources. Technical and policy claims are checked against primary documentation when possible. Public wording is original and paraphrased.

Editorial standards and corrections

Conflicting terminology is explained rather than hidden. Esoteric interpretation is separated from factual statements about code, arithmetic, and privacy. The site does not invent credentials, biographies, reviews, or outcomes. Correction requests can be sent through the contact page and are evaluated against the documented method and reliable sources.

Limits

Numerology is not scientifically validated. Results cannot diagnose a condition, predict events, measure compatibility, or replace professional advice. Interpretations vary by school and are presented for entertainment and personal reflection.
